Es un explosivo tipo hidrogel aluminizado, con pentrita y sustancias gelificantes, que evitan la segregación de los ingredientes oxidantes y combustibles sensibilizados en la mezcla, sumergible en agua. Su manejo es muy seguro debido a su baja sensibilidad al roce y al impacto. No contiene nitroglicerina. Diseñado para labores de prospección sísmica petrolera a diferentes profundidades. Se puede utilizar en presencia de agua. Tiene una alta velocidad de detonación, generando pulsación de una energía sísmica fuerte, aguda y buena definición. Para su iniciación requiere el uso de detonadores sismográficos.
